Brow Lift Surgery

At Scottsdale Surgical Arts, our brow lift procedure gently elevates the brows, smooths the forehead, and restores a more open, refreshed expression while maintaining a natural appearance.

Experts in facial surgery, each brow lift is tailored to your unique anatomy and goals. It can be done on its own or combined with eyelid or other facial procedures for a more comprehensive rejuvenation.

The brow and forehead are often the first areas to show aging, leading to heaviness, drooping, and deep lines that can make you look tired or tense.

Why Consider a Brow Lift?

  • Low or drooping brows that affect facial expression
  • Deep forehead creases or “11” lines between the eyebrows
  • A tired or stern appearance even when well-rested
  • Desire for facial rejuvenation without changing eye shape
  • This procedure is often combined with eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty) but can be combined with other facial rejuvenation therapies

Surgical Techniques

We combine surgical precision with an artistic approach to deliver natural-looking results. Our facial anatomy experts offer both traditional and minimally invasive endoscopic brow lift techniques, selected based on your anatomy, hairline, and aesthetic goals. Each procedure is performed under IV sedation and tailored for balanced, natural outcomes.

Endoscopic Brow Lift

A minimally invasive procedure that gently lifts the brows and smooths forehead lines using small, hidden incisions. This technique offers natural-looking results with minimal scarring and a faster recovery.

Classic (Coronal) Brow Lift

A traditional technique ideal for patients with more significant brow drooping or deeper forehead lines. This approach uses an incision hidden within the hairline to allow for a more dramatic lift and comprehensive reshaping of the forehead and brow area.

Temporal (Lateral) Brow Lift

A targeted technique that lifts the outer edges of the brows to address early aging and outer brow sagging. Small incisions hidden within the temples enhance eye shape and soften crow’s feet without affecting the central forehead.

Hairline (Pretrichial) Brow Lift

Ideal for patients with a high or receding hairline, this technique places the incision along the hairline to lift the brows without raising the forehead. It smooths forehead lines while preserving natural facial proportions.

What to Expect After Your Brow Lift

“Most patients return to normal routines within 2–3 weeks, revealing a refreshed, more youthful appearance.”

Recovery time after a brow lift varies depending on the technique used. Patients who have an open brow lift may notice more swelling and discomfort compared to those who undergo endoscopic or temporal procedures. Bruising and swelling around the brows or eyes are a normal part of the healing process and typically improve as recovery progresses.

To help manage swelling and promote healing, cold compresses can be used as directed. Sleeping with your head elevated for the first few nights is recommended, along with avoiding activities that place pressure on the face. Following these simple guidelines can help ensure a smoother and more comfortable recovery.
